Stitched Up, is a freely distributed interactive CD-Rom launched to mark the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade in the British Empire. This CD-Rom covers the complex and emotive subject of child labour in the world today, and encourages awareness and advocacy. This is the fifth project in a series of CD-Roms produced for World Vision. Each disc comes with an A2 poster resource and marketing flyer mail-out for subscription. Targeted at Key Stages 3 & 4, in both Geography and Citizenship, each disc contains videos, interactive picture galleries, games, maps, projects and assignments in the form of printable and photo-copiable PDF documents. Part of an ongoing marketing campaign to raise World Vision's profile within UK schools, these projects are aimed at publicising how this world-wide NGO works with families and communities in developing countries. |
