- Client : Walsall New Art Gallery
Design of a touch screen game as an installation in the children’s Discovery Gallery to encourage a young audience to engage with the celebrated art collection. Programming features include 3D carousel animations and a touch-screen administration interface. The concept relies on simple visual communication using images and sound alongside imaginative programming ideas to hold the interest and attention of young and old alike.
Two Thirds design were great to work with. They are a very friendly group, easy to get on with which helps for a creative working relationship. Their technical expertise was spot on in solving the problems I couldn’t get my head around and their creative input was thoroughly worth while and enhanced the project no end. They have a good understanding of how to blend the educational and the entertaining which helped enormously for our Discovery Gallery project. I will certainly be working with them again.
Walsall New Art Gallery
The award winning The New Art Gallery Walsall opened in February 2000 in the heart of Walsall town centre. The permanent display is The Garman Ryan Collection, a unique collection of over 350 works by leading European artists including Picasso, Braque, Van Gogh, Modigliani and Jacob Epstein. The temporary exhibition galleries run a programme of contemporary and historic exhibitions. The Discovery Gallery is for three years olds and upwards to enjoy and learn about contemporary artworks through interactive play.
