Accounting Early for Life Long Learning DVD-ROM

The design and branding of an interactive educational training DVD-ROM for early years practitioners. Our role was to enhance original video footage and reference information facilitated by the design of onscreen text presentations. The navigation of this resource enforces the 5 sections of training and clearly illustrates how these sections overlap.

A substantial education resource pack for early years practitioners. The solution required a package design to amalgamate existing documentation and training materials covering several projects. The final design style is professional yet elegant and creates a clean and simple solution which is easily applied with consistency through the packs diverse contents ranging from handout templates to PowerPoint presentations.

The design of an extensive teacher training pack. The design style is simple, organised and informative making cross-referencing easy without being sterile. It uses relevant images of classrooms, children and teachers to enhance the educational content but reflects a professional audience. This design style was consistently applied throughout a range of training resources including leaflets, posters, PowerPoint presentations and polypropylene packaging.

‘Time to Talk’ Training Pack

A pack for new parents with babies diagnosed with a hearing loss, this project required a sensitive approach. The immersive and tactile design was inspired by the techniques and activities used by the sensory team.

The creation of collage finger puppets helped to create visuals that are sympathetic to the subject matter and relevant, engaging and user friendly. Using the framework developed, this project seamlessly translated into languages supporting Sandwell’s diverse community. This project required close consultation with Sandwell Council’s Sensory Support Team and their partners.

The Green Space Tool Kit

The design of a planning folder to hold resources, instructions and case studies. The treatment is simple but appealing making it easy to use, with some creative use of print finishing which help organise and soften the informational contents. This pack also contains forms, easy-to-use instructions, and a CD-Rom containing supporting electronic documentation.
